Why Kashmiri Muslims are wrong ?
All Muslims do the blunder of understanding and calling their national and political struggle as Jihad- war against infidels. All over the World and in history different people had to fight but they don’t call their struggle a crusade or in any way a war against irreligion etc. Muslims do this blunder.
Like the rest of India, Kashmir had tribal people believing or practicing some sort of primitive religion and culture. Then before advent of Islam, some people may had become so called Hindus or followers of Brahmans and some may had become followers of Buddha or Mahavir. Then came Islam and gradually under Sufism, the majority of Kashmiri families became Muslim.
It is said that whoever ruled Kashmir- Muslims, Sikhs, Dogras or British they unleashed a reign of oppression and exploitation.
Now after Independence, Kashmir had majority of Muslim families and minority of Hindu families who are Kashmiri Pandits.
Now perhaps from the last three four decades Kashmiris are demanding Azaadi.
What is this azaadi and whose slaves are these free citizens this is the moot point.
Gradually like other Sunni Muslim dominant areas Wahhabism has taken its hold. These Kashmiris want a pure Muslim State and so they started attacking Kashmiri Pandits who under instructions of then governor migrated out. Under officers and politicians with communal bent of mind even under Congress rule a lot of Kashmiri Muslims had to suffer and now this has escalated to alarming scale.
Like always Kashmiri Muslims misunderstanding their political and national struggle as Jihad, like Palestine, they raise slogans and pelt stones and in consequence suffer massive backlash.
Suppose Kashmiris get autonomy then what will be their next target ? Their next target will be Muslim minorities - Shias. They will attack and persecute Shias as is happening in Pakistan.
Kashmiri Muslim must understand that whatever they are doing is not Jihad - it is SIN. First they attacked their own brothers who had not embraced Islam and were living together with you peacefully and your next target will be Muslim minorities because you had been blindfolded by wahhabism.
You became free in 1947 and you are no more slave to anybody except your own Satan. Ostracize that Satan and live peacefully with Kashmiri Brahmans- your own brothers and sisters- this is True Islam.
Viewing things either as male or as female has distorted our perceptions. Only some living things are male and female and even such things require gender free word most of the times. For example a human being needs to be addressed by some common word but the common word ‘man’ has been taken by male of the species. The male has penis and female has womb- so woman is correct word for female of human species and accordingly male of human species must be called ‘peman’ while man should be used where there is no need to express gender. At microscopic level, the female gamete remains at one place and male gamete reaches it and gets attached. 1. Most harm has caused to our thinking and feelings by understanding God in male image. 2. Many things having nothing to do with sex dichotomy are understood as male or female- for example in Hindi palang is masculine while kursi and mez are feminine. 3.
